Welcome to today’s episode! We’re midway through our week-long celebration of the one-year anniversary of my book, Virtual Freedom.
This is our third installment out of five extra special episodes, all dedicated to readers of the book who have taken action and seen major changes as a result.
Today Jarrod Robinson of The PE Geek and The Teacherpreneur joins us to talk about how he took his existing business and leveled up as a result of what he read in Virtual Freedom.
Jarrod is a long-time listener who picked up a Kindle copy and got some truly great insights while reading the book. He was already employing virtual staff to help on a project basis and had just completed his first hire of a general VA. When he read the book he realized he could truly take his business to the next level by hiring for the role, not the task.
On this episode he and I talk about what that meant for his business, and the mental shift he made to delegating tasks he hated. Making that leap to delegation was a major change for him, he no longer had to deal with software support for his 60+ mobile apps, his 4 different specialized web apps and his membership site!
After reading Virtual Freedom he began using management tools like Trello, Skype and Google Drive to work more efficiently with his team. He also implemented standard operating procedures for the various roles on his staff.
All of those changes made a major difference for Jarrod. In fact with that extra time he’s created through delegation he is going on a world-wide tour in the second half of 2015! He’ll be talking with and training PE teachers around the globe, and he knows he couldn’t do any of it without his team.
On today’s show Jarrod also talks about his latest creation The Teacherpreneur and how it came about as well as what he’d add to the book. You’ll want to hear all about that and more so tune in!
