The origins of the book are in a near-fatal car accident Hal experienced at just 19 years of age. The accident was so severe he actually died for 6 minutes! When he awoke after six days in a coma he was told he’d never walk again. Three weeks later he took his first step, and went on to make a full recovery.
That life-altering accident led to a new path for Hal. He became a coach, an author and a speaker. He created a six-figure income from those sources, and then 9 years later lost it all when the US economy crashed. It was his second rock-bottom moment of his life.
He was in terrible physical, mental, emotional and financial shape: the worst of his life. Through a series of incidents he understood if he wanted to change his life, he had to change himself and that led to changes in his morning routine.
These changes he would later call his life “savers”: savers stands for for silence, affirmations, visualization, exercise, reading and scribing. Implementing his life savers he more than doubled his income in two months, and his depression lifted. He went on to share his routine with his clients and eventually penned Miracle Mornings to share with the world.
