Today podcasting is on the verge of a massive explosion; it’s a burgeoning medium that nearly everyone is getting involved with. But 7 years ago hardly a soul knew about it, let alone how to create a 7-figure income out of it!
But Jordan Harbinger did just that.
Jordan is part of a two-man show spearheading The Art of Charm, a business devoted to teaching men elements of confidence, networking skills and advanced social dynamics for greater success. Their tagline is “Where Ordinary Guys Become Extraordinary Men”. And their largest marketing tool is their free podcast.
The origins of The Art of Charm (or AOC as it’s called for short), stem from a conversation Jordan had while interning at a large multi-national law firm in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
One of the partners at this firm was supposed to be Jordan’s mentor during his summer there. The guy was never around, yet everyone in the office talked about what a bad ass he was and how he made more money than anyone else in the firm.
It really peaked Jordan’s interest so one day this partner took Jordan out for coffee and told Jordan to ask him whatever he wanted. At this point, Jordan was dying to know how this guy was so successful.
The partner let him in on his secret: he frequently brought in million-dollar deals for the firm based on relationships he was creating. Whether he was at the gym or on the golf course or on a cruise, this guy was networking and getting people to know, like and trust him.
That insight opened a new world for Jordan. He set about learning everything he could about networking, social skills and how to build relationships.

He took that knowledge and started applying it: he went out by himself and got to know anyone and everyone in his town. One person he met was AJ, his now partner at The AOC.
Combining their knowledge, they became influential and connected in Ann Arbor. People took notice and wanted to know how they were doing it. People wanted a book about how they had formed their connections and their relationships, but a book was too time-consuming for them.
AJ had a better idea, he suggested they start a podcast. From that idea, The Art Of Charm was born. Soon it became so popular Jordan left his law career to run the business.
And for the last 7+ years, they’ve been building a business to go along with podcast. Their audience has demanded coaching, live trainings, ebooks, among other products.
Today they continue to provide value with The Art Of Charm podcast, a show that is downloaded over 750,000 times a month and is consistently the top-rated self-help show on iTunes, the second-highest in the health category and in the Top 100 of iTunes.
